Microelectronic manufacturing is characterized by complex technological processes that lead to emissions of dangerous pollutants that significantly affect both human health and the environment. In this work, an algorithm is proposed based on the use of the best available technologies and the identification of marker pollutants for effective and economically sound environmental control. The emissions of pollutants into the atmospheric air from microelectronics enterprises located in Zelenograd were examined. The list of marker pollutants for microelectronic production has been substantiated – N,N-dimethylformamide, gaseous fluorides and ammonia, each of which accounts for more than 10 % of the total mass of the emissions of the studied enterprises, is typical for technological processes of microelectronic production and is constantly present in emissions. The results can be used in the development of recommendations in the field of environmental control, including for its optimization, and in formation of a theoretically grounded base for information technology reference books on the best available technologies in the field of microelectronics.
